Cubs reliever Daniel Bard is not likely going to pitch for the team before the end of the regular season, MLB.com reports. Manager Dale Sveum said Friday that Bard is still throwing side sessions and is not yet completely healthy.

Cubs pitcher Kevin Gregg ripped the team after giving up four runs and taking the loss Friday, complaining about the team's plan to give Pedro Strop a look at closer. Braves third baseman Chris Johnson went 3 for 4 with a double, home run, two runs and two RBI. His home run was his first since Aug. 21, according to CBS Sports.
