In the first two games of this series between American League playoff contenders, Baltimore has kept the Angels at bay in their home stadium. Tonight, they are hoping that Anaheim native Chris Tillman can shut out his hometown team to complete the sweep.

The Angels reached a franchise record of 10 straight home series victories before getting shutout on Tuesday by Baltimore's win.

They still have the best record in the league since June 6 at 28-12, and could avoid getting swept at home for the first time since losing to Seattle Mariners in the season's opening series.

Tillman had quality starts in five of his last six outings (at least six innings pitched, no more than three earned runs allowed). He has lowered his ERA from 4.82 to 4.03 during this period.

The right-hander, however, has produced 42 fly balls and just 18 grounders against him, which the Angels could take advantage through their high-hitting lineup.

The Angels will have Jered Weaver take the mound. The star pitcher has recorded a six shutout innings in his last start against Mariners before giving up two hits to begin the seventh.

The duel between the pitchers and the powerful lineup of the top American League teams make tonight's game all the more enticing.

The match will be televised on MASN and Fox Sports West (FSW), and online live stream can be watched online by clicking here.
