Congratulations to 15 year-old Bethany Dillon, whose first single, "Beautiful," from her self-titled debut album has cracked the Top 5 on Radio & Records' Christian Hit Radio chart. Having a hit song is just one of many new adventures in this intelligent young singer/songwriter's life.

Posting in her online journal, Bethany writes enthusiastically about her recent first national tour with worship artists Shane & Shane, her first experience at the Dove Awards last month in Nashville, and how she just received her driver's permit (she'll turn 16 in September).

Also a driving force at retail, BETHANY DILLON, which released in April, is in the Top 40 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and is the #2 most downloaded full Christian music CD on Apple's iTunes web site. ("Beautiful" is among the Top 100 downloaded songs at iTunes).

Up next, Dillon serves as a guest album reviewer in the June issue of CCM magazine. She will perform at the Spirit West Coast music festival in California on July 21 and 22 and then gear up for her 40-city tour with Bebo Norman that runs August 24 through November 12.
