The August 21 episode is the last week when being nominated out of the Big Brother's house is not the end of the world. The one who will be evicted will be joining Shelli, Jackie and Becky in a competition on Thursday to come back into the game, so the stake is not so much for this week.

Indeed the Big Brother 17 spoilers from Friday night are not surprising at all. Head of Household Austin Matelson announced his Week 9 nominations for eviction as reported by fan site Big Brother Network. The site has confirmed that John McGuire and Steve Moses were Austin's nominees.

This really does not come as a surprise since he had already planned of nominating John and Steve when he became the new Big Brother 17 Head of Household and even discussed this matter with twins, Liz Nolan and Julia Nolan.

The website wrote, "The last thing Austin was saying before he closed his eyes was that he'd have to go after Vanessa as a Backdoor. While that obviously meant John and Steve would be the original nominees I also took it as an excuse to kick the can on making a decision. By putting those two HGs up he could act like he was still considering BD'ing Vanessa until the last min of PoV even if he wasn't."

On Saturday (August 22), we will see the Week 9 Veto ceremony. Those nominated can guarantee their safety by if they will be chosen to wear the Veto necklace into Monday's ceremony, August 24. Those who do not wear the Veto necklace will face the prospect of eviction, especially Vanessa who has yet to learn that the backdoor idea is being floated.

However, Vanesa can still win the Veto and avoid any temptations from Austin and the twins to guarantee that the nominations remain unchanged, reported Inquistr.

Becky Burgess Reveals Her Biggest Mistake

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Becky Burgess revealed her biggest mistake that caused her eviction from the Big Brother House on Thursday night. The 26-year-old retail manager and a native of Denver said her bold move and refusal to make a deal when she was HOH (Head of Household), made her vulnerable. And worst, her target remains in the house.

"I made a big move the week prior while I was HOH and my target remained in the house. That made me vulnerable," she said and added and even campaigned amongst her housemates for her to stay. However, she did not received a single vote to stay.

"I did campaign. I said I never put Liz, Austin, or Julia on the block since they weren't threats to me and that if I stayed in the house, Vanessa and I would go after one another so again, more time for them to be safe. Also, that I had never won a Veto. I was just trying to say I was less of a well-rounded competitor and more of just a physical competitor," she told EW.

When pressed to comment what was her biggest mistake in the game, Becky replied that it was assuming "Vanessa would go home when people said they would vote her out. I took their word for it and they switched it up. I don't regret not making a deal because she will use it against you, as ammunition. However, I wish I would have pretended that she was a pawn and left it to the house to decide. "
