The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 are still the top dogs in the video game console market for this holiday season, and you can expect plenty of deals for both products during Black Friday.

This year, Black Friday seems to be growing more and more towards gift card offerings and bundle deals. Plus, with a few major retailers opening their sales on the evening of Thanksgiving Day, you have more time to enjoy the discounts.

So what can we expect to see from Microsoft's and Sony's consoles this year?

Xbox One

Microsoft's latest game console is struggling to outsell Sony's PlayStation 4, so it only makes sense that the tech giant is offering an amazing deal on the Xbox One this year. Although Walmart will have the Xbox One discounted at $350, your best deals will come from Target and Best Buy.

During Target's Black Friday sale, you can get the Assassin's Creed bundle that includes the 500 GB console, Assassin's Creed Unity, and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (digital downloads for both), and a $50 Target gift card all for $330. If you take into consideration the original console price of $400, the game bundle retail prices, and the $50 gift card, you're looking at a savings of $240. Best Buy is offering the same exact bundle, but without the gift card, making Target the clear winner here.

If you want to extend your Xbox experience a bit further, you could also take advantage of deals on the Xbox One controller ($40) and plenty of game deals at Target, Best Buy, and Walmart.

Xbox 360

Don't forget about the old trusty Xbox 360! The older console will be $180 at Target for the 4 GB version that includes the Xbox Kinect and three games: Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon. Also included is one month of Xbox Live Gold for online play. That's an $80 discount off the regular price of the Kinect bundle.

PlayStation 4

Target and Best Buy are battling for the Sony fans' attention as well with comparable sales on the PlayStation 4. During Best Buy's Black Friday sale, you'll be able to get a PS4 bundle that comes with the console, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Last of Us (digital remastered edition) for $400. Target's sale is identical, but your preference may depend on what games you can find on sale at either store.

PlayStation 3

If you're looking for a PS3, GameStop looks like the only one giving the older Sony console any love this year. At $200, this Game of the Year bundle comes with the 250 GB console, Batman: Arkham Origins, The Last of Us, and a free PlayStation Network membership.
