A judge in Atlanta has appointed Bobbi Kristina Brown's father and aunt as co-guardians. In addition, a member of the Houston family has stated that Brown's recovery process may have stalled.

According to a report in the Associated Press, lawyers representing Bobby Brown and Pat Houston issued a joint statement on Friday mentioning that Judge Jeryl Debra Rosh appointed them joint responsibility. This ruling extended to Brown's care and medical needs.

"The decision comes after the 22-year-old was found face down and unresponsive in a tub at her Georgia home Jan. 31," AP wrote. "She has been moved to an undisclosed location since being released from an Atlanta hospital in March."

The Associated Press added that assets for the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, including rights and legal claims, would be seen by lawyer Bedelia Hargrove, who was appointed conservator.

In an exclusive report posted by Entertainment Tonight, Cissy Houston talked with Kevin Frazier about her granddaughter's condition. She lamented on the lack of progress in the recovery.

"She's the same, she's not progressing at all," Cissy said. "She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her... I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it."

Houston then elaborated on the special meaning behind the lyrics of "The Blood that Jesus shed for Me." She plans to sing that song during a performance Saturday evening at McDonald's Gospelfest in New Jersey.

"Way back on the cavalry," she quoted, "The blood that gives me strength from day to day shall never lose its power."

Houston also reacted to the news that guardians have been appointed on her granddaughter's behalf.

"It came alright. It was fine," Cissy said. "We're a family...that works together for the best. You want the best for whomever or everybody we can...We can be on the other side too if you make us be but we are not going to do that. There's no reason for that. That's why I'm concerned. So, that's the end of that."

According to ET, the court ruling awarding co-guardianship would be considered a loss for Bobbi Kristina's father.

"Bobby will no longer be able to make decisions about his daughter's medical care on his own, while Pat and the late Houston's mother Cissy control the estate inherited by Krissi when Whitney died in February 2012," ET wrote.

Cissy then thanked everyone who prayed for Bobbi Kristina and her family during the difficult times.

"I'd like to thank everybody who was praying," Cissy said. "Who really knows the worth of prayer and I'm sure it'll get through. You know, praying along with me. It's all I can tell you. I'm just waiting for whatever happens."

Cissy added more details about her granddaughter's health in closing remarks.

"We go to the hospital every day and pray and, you know, I talk to [Krissi] because she can still hear, and I rub her hand and what not. My daughter-in-law and my son, we do what we can do," Cissy said. "The rest is, we can't do anything about because that's all up to Him. We know nothing about his plan."
