Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) be visibly absent the first two episodes of Bones Season 11 after shortly getting back to work with the FBI.

In an interview with TVLine, Boreanaz allayed fears of fans of the show and said he would be returning to Bones after the first two episodes. He explained that his "mysterious disappearance" can be explained because he suffered a health scare earlier this summer that delayed his return to shoot some of his scenes to the popular Fox crime drama franchise.

"Nothing matters to me more than Bones, so I was thrilled when the producers came up with a way for me to take a few extra weeks to recover from a personal health issue without delaying production," Boreanaz said "I'm happy to say that I'm now feeling great and will be back to work tomorrow, and that our 11th season premiere will broadcast on schedule - with me in it."

Fortunately for him, the producers of Bones accommodated his request to start shooting late and developed a storyline depicting his disappearance.

According to reports, Boreanaz suffered a bad reaction to an antibiotic, but he has now fully recovered and has returned to work on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and started taping some scenes for Bones that can be inserted into the episodes that he missed, including the Oct. 1 release date of the show.

Going back to his disappearance, the FBI has recruited special agent Grace Miller (Kim Raver) to lead a team of Federal operatives to investigate into Booth's disappearance. Raver will be appearing in two episodes, triggering speculations Booth will also be out for the same number of episodes.

A separate report by TV Line said Booth's disappearance is linked to his brother Jared (Brendan Fehr). Booth served as the best man for Jared's wedding in season 5 and that was the last episode he made his appearance on the show.

It was speculated that Booth will be investigating the alleged death of his brother Jared. The rumor of Jared's death was further pushed after his wife, Padme (Dilshad Vadsaria) would be seen alone in the new season.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bones showrunner Michael Peterson revealed that Dr. Temperance Bones Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will give birth to a baby boy in the next season after quitting her job at the Jeffersonian.  Brennan will be busy taking care of her new baby in the upcoming episodes, he said.

"Brennan never has trouble filling up her time. She's written books, she's done multiple projects. She's more in between than Booth. She's diversified herself into many projects, so she hasn't quite landed on the one," Peterson said.

Bones' initial episode for its new season will be set a few months after the end of the Season 10's season finale where Booth and Bones settled happily to enjoy their new quiet lives with their daughter Christine and new baby boy.

The pilot episode's title is The Loyalty in the Lie, revolves around deception and lies.

Bones returns on Oct. 1.
