Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to release next week for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC, but leaked footage of the game has made the rounds already, which the game's developer calls "a real bummer."

November 3rd will see the Day Zero Edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, giving players a one-day head start over the release of the regular retail edition on November 4th. The Day Zero Edition also includes double XP for 24 hours, additional weapons, and special in-game items.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a first-person shooter that takes place in the year 2054. You play as a U.S. Marine fighting against the KVA, a terrorist organization that launches the first successful simultaneous global terrorist attack on various nuclear reactors across the world. 

CoD:AW was first revealed in May of 2014 with tidbits of info and game trailers released throughout the year. But this most recent footage leak shows off parts of the game that Sledgehammer Games' co-founder, Glen Schofield, said ruins the discovery.

"We took 3 years 2 make a game. Kept it quiet 4 the fans & it has to be stolen & leaked a week b4," Schofield said in a tweet when he discovered that the leakeed footage was from a stolen copy of the game. "That sucks. A real bummer. Thanks a lot."

Twitch user Anfuny21 first broadcast the leaked footage this weekend on his channel, but the stream and his channel were both removed. While it's not known how the Twitch user got the early copy of the game, there is currently no word on legal action being taken by Sledgehammer Games or publisher Activision.

For those looking to buy and experience the game the old fashioned way, several deals are currently in place. Walmart, Target, and Best Buy are all rumored to give a $50 discount on the Xbox One CoD:AW bundle, which includes a 1TB console decked out in CoD:AW graphics, a custom controller, headset, decals, and a digital version of the game.

Plus, if you sign up for My Best Buy Reards, you get an additional $10 off. With an MSRP of $60, you could potentially get CoD:AW on release day for only $20 through these deals. The promotion runs from October 19th through November 2nd at participating Best Buy locations.
