Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC becomes available on Xbox One and PC starting March 3.

The first DLC pack of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is now available on consoles and PC in all regions starting March 3. Last month, Awakening DLC arrived on PlayStation 4, but now it is playable on Xbox One and PC. Here's the latest round up of update about Awakening DLC release date, how to download and new maps.

For Xbox One players who have purchased the Season Pass, they can already get the Awakening DLC. Season Pass owners can download the new DLC pack by following these few easy steps.  While on the console's dashboard, select Awakening Black Ops 3 DLC Ad located at the right side of the screen. After that, choose "Buy Now" option. If the ad doesn't appear, players only need to restart the console. For much faster method, just hold LT+RT+Y to refresh the dashboard. Take note that this method doesn't seem to work in some regions and for those don't have Season Pass.

Awakening DLC is available individually for $14.99. For those want to have the premium package, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass is available for $49.99. The new expansion pack only weighs 10MB. The file is small because the new maps actually arrive on consoles last month with the February update.

The Awakening DLC introduces four new Black Ops 3 maps. Here are the details of new locations:

Gauntlet - Set in a crowded urban warfare with jungle lane, snowy lane and urban lane. There's also airborne attack in the snow and jungle battles.

Splash -This map is located in an abandoned water theme park. Players can move around using waterslides and fight underwater.

Rise - Set in a construction facility that offers wallrunning opportunities. Game developers called this new location as a classic Call of Duty map.

Skyjacked - This new map displays deadly multi-level design. It is also fast paced remake of Hijacked from Black Ops 2.

Aside from four new maps, the new DLC features the next chapter of the Zombies saga, "Der Eisendrachen." The Zombies expansion takes place in a medieval castle. According to GottabeMobile, the Awakening pack introduces four new kinds of Zombies Mega Gumballs. It is also reported that the DLC brings new set of weapon skins and new multiplayer additions.

We'll update this article once the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening pack becomes available on Xbox One and PC, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
