With increasing missions trips of contemporary artists nowadays, it shows that being an artist in a Christian music industry is not only about the music that Christians write and sing for God, but showing the way, the truth and life as displayed in Christ.
Through this summer, contemporary artists continue to show philanthropic support to world mission and demonstrate an image of service. Steven Curtis Chapman joined with DATA serving the crisis of AIDS and poverty in Africa, as well as helping out in a foundation for orphanages. Third Day will venture to Mexico for missions after their world LIVE tour later this summer, and Something Like Silas just returned from Malawi and South Africa after holding concerts many sites for the natives.
What is the image of Christ? The attitude of Christ can be seen in today’s contemporary artists with unconstrained service.
