The Chicago Bears will play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, September 14, during Week 2 of 2014 NFL. The Bears will be visiting the 49ers at the newly constructed Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. The Sunday Night Football game can be watched online through live stream below (free with subscription), and through NBC Television Network.

Though losing to Bill by three points, the Bears opened their 2014 regular season with a solid offensive performance, tying with Bills at 20 points before going into overtime.

Quarterback Jay Cutler scored two pass touchdowns in 34 completions and 349 pass yards. Based on Week 1's performance, the Bears is ranked 3rd in total yards per game (427), 4th in pass yards (341), but 22nd in rush yards.

The Bears were unable to emerge as the winner in their struggle against the Bills, because they were unable to stop the opposing team's rush offense, giving up 193 yards, the second to the last rank in the league.

For Week 2, the Bears also has a slew of injured players who won't be able to play - QB David Fales  (right shoulder), RB Tony Fiammetta (hamstring), C Roberto Garza (Ankle), Matt Slauson (Ankle). WRs Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall are listed as questionable, and Josh Morgan as doubtful.

The 49ers stampeded over the Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium in Week 1, surprising the home team, who scored only 3 points in first two quarter, with 28 points by the end of second quarter. Though the 49ers did not score in 3rd and 4th quarters, the overarching lead was decisive in the game result.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick scored two pass touchdowns in 16 completions out of 23 attempts with 201 pass yards. Wide receiver Vernon Davis caught both of the passes and carried 44 yards. Running back Frank Gore had 66 rush yards in 16 carries, Carlos Hyde had 50 rush yards in 7 carries.

49ers is now ranked 2nd in NFC West, and are mostly healthy with exception to C Marcus Martin out with a knee injury.
