Bears vs. Rams Week 12 Preview

The Bears are placed 2nd in NFC North. They are ranked 2nd in the league for the most number of points per game on average and 9th in yards received per game. Chicago's Jay Cutler has put down 13 touchdowns with 1,908 passing yards. Running-back Matt Forte has shown his strength with seven touchdowns and 774 rush yards. Wide-receiver Brandon Marshall has put down eight touchdowns and 828 yards.

Rams' Sam Bradford has led St. Louis with 14 touchdowns and 1,687 passing yards. The other 14 touchdowns are spread among his teammates. The situation is that the Rams have performed worse than the Bears in offense, but they have a slightly stronger defensive stats.

If the Rams want to have a chance to defeat the Bears, St. Louis must stop Bears' Cutler from passing to Marshall and Forte. On the other hand, Cutler is expected to look for his teammates to deliver the touchdown passes. The odds are that the Bears would win the game, but the Rams are expected to do everything that they can to shut out the offensively-dominant Bears.
