According to MNN’s news report, China’s churches have grown tremendously. Presently in China, there are over 40,000,000 Christians. A refreshing news is that Christian believers and Churches are receiving more approval from the government. In the past, there are many churches that have been torn down, but now they have all been approved for reconstruction. The Chinese Christians have received a great comfort from this.

In October, a church will soon be created in JiangXi Province Rin Chwan Shi, new meeting hall could gather 1800 people. China Partner has already joined to participate in this reconstruction planning. A very important matter now is the mission of training Pastors and church leaders. Looking at this plan and opportunity, China Partner expresses his joy.

According to current Chinese government and news of believer’s increase, China partner’s co-worker Erik Burklin replies: “Under the communist rule where everything has to be under equality, there is still some freedom for Christians and various religious faiths. This is news that will cause people to be ecstatic.”

China Partner states, this increase in believers has never happened in the past, and it signals a major problem among the churches in China, “Too many owners, but not enough workers.” Even though many have turned to Christ, but there are not enough Pastors and church leaders to go around to shepherd and lead new believers in Christ. Church Pastors and Leader are becoming over burdensome, unable to handle work such as training and shepherding. In addition, the majority of Pastors are over age, and many church’s Pastors don’t even have a proper training in theological seminary and bible schools. In farm lands the number of people is increasing quickly, so Pastors are heavily in need.

As response to these issues, China Partner opened four major areas: China Special Case, Christian Text Offer and Giving Special Case, ZhanXi special case and scholarship cases. With these new areas of developmental programs, they hope to maintain contact with the theological seminaries that are responsible for educating and training the Chinese ministry workers. They will provide Christian texts to supply China’s theological seminaries, bible-schools, and from here they wish to create the new generation church leaders, pastors, teachers, and administrative workers. They also wish to build a national network of teachers, and at the same time he wishes to improve the teaching plans.
