Chinese Christian Church Music Institute for Worship’s Last Intergenerational Worship Session

Dr. Bruce H. Leafblad, Professor of Church Music and Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will deliver a message titled "True Worship and the Throne of God”

For four sessions on Saturdays since January 15, 2005, Chinese Christian Church Music Institute for Worship (CCCMIW) has been holding a 5-session program of Intergenerational Worship that gathers the entire congregation for a time of worship and fellowship. The upcoming and last worship session is scheduled on May 7 at 5.30 p.m. in Messiah Lutheran Church, California.

Dr. Bruce H. Leafblad, who is the Professor of Church Music and Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, will be the sermon speaker of this 5th session. He will be preaching a message from Isaiah 6:1-11 titled “True Worship and the Throne of God”.

Breaking the barrier of generation, CCMIW strives to unite congregation and families and enhance the singing and preaching of the word to a meaningful worship experience by bringing the young and old to worship God together. “Let’s come to worship our Lord God together in one spirit, one desire, one heart and one mind!”

Currently, CCMIW is also hosting other musical activities such as music camps, lectures on worshipping, choir and chorale. They also conduct pastor’s retreats, offer courses in worship, preaching and music ministry. (www.cccmi.org)
