June 8th, Chris Rice (the first artist signed to Rocketown Records) will release a “Best of Project” through Providence Distribution! This 17-track CD- titled: “Short Term Memories”- will include two new songs, and a guitar version of "Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus)”.
"The songs represented on Short Term Memories are really all incredible,” said Rocketown Records President Don Donahue. “The hardest job we had was to actually cut songs like ‘Hallelujahs’ and ‘Everything's OK’ off of the final list—we simply had too much great material. Chris is a master at the twist of phrase that makes a song so enjoyable to someone who loves great songwriting. Each of these songs has a special memory of the first time I heard them, and our hope is that the consumer feels the same way. This is truly a stunning collection."
Below is the final song list in sequence—new songs/live tracks are marked with an asterisk (*) and No. 1 radio hits are in bold:

At a special K-LOVE-sponsored concert event at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame during Gospel Music Week 2004, Rice will be performing many of these songs.
"This is so early in my career to record a best-of CD, so I wanted to reach back to a few earlier songs--songs I wrote and sang around the country long before I ever signed a record deal," says Chris. "These earlier songs are still favorites among friends I've watched grow up over the last 15 years! I'm sure people will relate across the board, and get a glimpse into my earlier years of youth and college work."
