Christian Musicians Teach Worship to Filipinno Churches

jnX (joyful noise express) Christian worship ministry has just closed its two-week short term mission trip in Philippines in late April, revealing the great need of sharing Gospel music in that region.

According to Anthony Chan, founder of jnX, three members from jnX visited the local churches in Manila and Cagayan de Oro, south Philippines. Through organizing worship training sessions and workshops, jnX has successfully helped the native ministers build up a basis of worship techniques. More importantly, the program has emphasized on the meaning of spiritual worship, so that worship leaders are not just trained to become singers, but they will become true mediators to guide the congregation before the Lord.

"The demand for worship training in Filipino churches is very desperate, so we are there to serve," Chan concluded as he shared about his reflection. He added that when young Christians from those two cities have heard about jnX’s program, they have rushed in to meet with the team and learn from them. This longing heart is most impressive to the jnX team members.

Founded in 2001, jnX has been committed to step into the world’s most impoverished countries and regions to provide worship training for the local churches. Many lives have been transformed through this faith. jnX urged Chinese churches to support their short term mission trips through prayer and donation.
