Getting a gift for a significant other can sometimes be daunting. Whether you're a husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend, or whether you've been together for one month or 20 years, finding that perfect gift for that special someone is important.

Social media sites like Pinterest can help spur some creative ideas, and even give helpful instructions if you're looking to give the gift of handmade this year, but not all of us are as crafty as others.

That's why we've not only compiled a guide to the best gift ideas for this Christmas season, but we've thrown in other helpful lists out there that will help you expand your search.

Husband

PopSugar has a great list called the "35 Holiday Gifts For the Guy Who Basically Has Everything." This giant list contains everything from a classic Sega Genesis video game console to a "Ultimate Man Refueling Set" by Kiehl's. This is certainly the list you want to check out for something unique.

Over at the Unveiled Wife blog, the husband gift ideas include a shotgun shell Thermos, an assortment of quality grilling tools and gloves, a leather wallet, and even a t-shirt that says "I (Heart) My Wife."
