Aside from the NFL, college football league is also preparing for its own Thanksgiving Day game. Highlighting this year's event is the LSU Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies.

The match between these two teams will be held on Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted by ESPN. The upcoming game is surely considered as a high profile match especially given the standings of these two teams.

Currently, the Aggies are 8-3 this season while the Tigers are at 6-4 due to a cancelled game. Based on their stats, the Tigers are being considered as the underdogs for the upcoming match. For this season, LSU is averaging 25.7 points and 406.1 yards per game. The Aggies, on the other hand, are at 35.1 points and 467.7 yards, according to Sports Chat Place.

When it comes to their quarterbacks, the Aggies also have the slightly better passer. Jake Hubenak, the current starter for the Aggies, has a 59.8 completion rate while the Tigers' Danny Etling is at 58.5.

Although the Aggies are being favored to win, this doesn't mean that LSU will be taking it easy on the upcoming game. The team is coming from a recent loss against the Florida Tigers. Although many of team's members are still hurting from that loss, they are now ready to shift their attention to the Aggies on Thursday at Thanksgiving Day.

For Will Clapp, the Tigers' offensive guard, he's planning on using the loss to push himself to do better in the match against Texas.
"Me, personally, I don't need any motivation," he said according to LSU Now. "Quite honestly, I'm still mad. I want to go out there and play another game and get back out there and finish what we started."

Edward Orgeron, the team's interim head coach, said that like his players, he wants to finish the year strong. They're planning on showing this at Thanksgiving Day.

"We're 4-2 as far as I know," he said. "That's all we've done. We focus on that: We're 4-2. We've got Texas A&M. We promise we'll finish the season strong, and we'll talk about one game at a time. That's all we're doing."
