Joy-Anna Duggar is finally exchanging wedding vows with fiancé, Austin Forsyth, this summer. A post in an Arkansas newspaper has revealed the “Counting On” star’s plans for a supposedly secret wedding, revealing that she and Austin have filed for marriage license.

The Facebook fan page Duggar Family News shared a picture of Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding announcement as stated in the marriage license section. While the post did not reveal the exact date of the couple’s nuptials, it stated that the couple filed for the marriage license on May 11, 2017 in Washington County, Arkansas.

“The wedding is soon,” the fan page further stated in the comments section of its post.

According to Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the county requires that a couple has 60 days to get married in order for their marriage license to be considered valid. Therefore, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are expected to tie the knot before July 10.

The couple’s wedding update comes days after it was reported that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were to exchange wedding vows last May 20. While some continue to believe that the ceremony may have happened in a private setting, others are questioning such possibility given that the Duggar family remains popular, thanks to their TLC reality shows. The Duggar family is also known for inviting a large number of guests to their weddings while members of the media typically cover their events, taking pictures before TLC airs the occasions on “Counting On.”

Recently, the Duggar Family Blog has remained mum about Joy-Anna and Austin’s wedding.

“Quite a few rumors about the timing of Joy-Anna Duggar's upcoming wedding to Austin Forsyth have been circulating the internet, but we want to remind you all that no official word has been given,” the website shared. “When the couple chooses to make their special date public, we will share it with you. And rest assured, there will be plenty of exciting wedding footage coming your way from TLC and the Duggars.”

Joy and Austin made their engagement public in March, four months after they officially announced courtship; the two were already friends for 15 years prior to their courtship. While the couple has refrained from dropping details about their wedding plans, they have opened up about their goals and dreams for their future.

The pair was in attendance at their combined bachelor and bachelorette camping party this month, and Austin took the opportunity to share his hopes of having his future children enjoy the outdoors with him. “I think I like outdoor activities because I grew up doing that,” Austin shared in a TLC video. “My dad took me camping at a very age, our whole family, and it is just something we’ve always enjoyed as a family and I hope to transfer that over to our family."

Joy-Anna Duggar has also spoken about her goals for the next five years as she enters the married life. As she spoke to Crown of Beauty Magazine last month, she opened up about wanting to become a mother herself. “Lord willing, I will be married and a mother,” Joy said. The 19-year-old reality TV star further emphasized her baby comments as she filmed a Mother’s Day clip for her mother, Michelle Duggar, admitting that she “can’t wait to be a mother myself.”

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s courtship, as well as the highly-anticipated marriage proposal, are set to be featured on the new season of “Counting On.” The upcoming episodes are set to air beginning June 12 on TLC.
