Going into Week 14, Cowboys is placed 2nd in NFC East and third for points scored per game (27.4). Dallas quarterback Tony Romo had led his team to the No. 1 seat in NFC East before Thanksgiving game and achieved the best fourth-quarter passer rating (102.5) in the regular season of any quarterback ever. However, the team's loss to Raiders in Week 13 dropped them down to the second place in their division.

Dallas lost to Raiders because of their poor rush defense, which was the fifth-highest average in the league. Although the Bears are ranked 21st in the league for rush offense, they can still take advantage of Cowboy's defensive holes while exert their No. 5 pass offense to move the ball down the field and scoring.

As the fourth highest-scoring team, the Bears may have an additional advantage over Cowboys in that Chicago's weather is expected to drop to between zero and negative 5 degrees, according to ABC News. The city of Chicago has issued a warning of frigid temperature and has asked fans to bundle up if they decide to attend.

In rush offense comparison, Cowboys' running back DeMarco Murray has put down 7 rush touchdowns at 697 yards; the Bears' running back Matt Forte also has 7 rush touchdowns but beats the Monday Night Football opponent with 971 yards.

According to the offensive and defensive comparison, the two teams are about even in their overall performances so far in 2013. With quarterback Jay Cutler out due to injuries, the Bears are relying on Josh McCown, who will make his fourth straight start Monday night against the Cowboys. Subbing for Cutler in the last six games, the 34-year-old has completed 65.2 percent of his passes for 1,461 yards with nine touchdowns, one interception and a 103.6 passer rating.
