The Media Evangelism Limited produced an evangelical film called "The Days of Noah" have broke the record for documentary film in Hong Kong. The film crew have worked on the film for over three years, invested 400,000 dollars, and took the shots at the Ararat Mountain where the biblical Noah's Ark is located.
During the press conference on 21st of April in New York City, the executive officer of the Media Evangelism, Andrew Yuen, noted that "The Days of Noah" is the first of its kind produced by the Chinese that gives such original experience for viewers to the actual history.
Since the 20th century, explorations have been sent to descover the legendary Noah's ark. From 1952 to 1955, a french adventurer claimed to have discovered the ark that was built on a particular type of tree that existed 5000 years ago.
According to the records of the Bible, Noah built and ark which sheltered his family and animals during the flood which brought destruction to the world. After the flood, the ark was said to have stopped on what is now the Ararat Mountain.
For the past two years, the culture of the Christianity has been rescinding. This year, the evangelical film "The Days of Noah" broke the box office record. The theme song for the film was ranked the top popular songs. Last year, the film "Miracle Box" by The Media Evangelism Limited was ranked third while the film "Passion of Christ" ranked first.
The film was premiered in New York on 22nd of April. It will be screened on May 1st in San Francisco area at the River of Life Church in Santa Clara.
