Delirious' World Service to release Feb. 10

After setting the standard for global worship anthems, celebrated rock group Delirious will release World Service on February 10, 2004, which marks a new chapter for Delirious with a fresh collection of inspired songs created especially for the corporate worship experience. Redefining the meaning of praise & worship, Delirious has sold more than 2,000,000 albums worldwide and are regarded as the forerunners of the modern worship movement.

With landmark international classics like “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,” “Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble,” and “Shout To the North,” the songs of Delirious have made a significant impact on the modern worship landscape around the globe. World Service, produced by Delirious and Julian Kindred (MercyMe, Sonicflood), features twelve brand new tracks. Serving as an all-embracing experience, Delirious returns to its roots of progressive and introspective worship tunes and shares new worship songs that are destined to become staples within the church.

The first radio single, “Rain Down,” will be released to CHR and AC radio formats on December 19. Both “Rain Down” and “Majesty (Here I Am)” have already received significant attention on MP3.com with over 500,000 listens and downloads on the website alone. Delirious will also be in the U.S. this spring performing with 14 Acquire the Fire dates, which gather over 50,000 in attendance at each stop as well as headlining an 18-city tour in April.
