Square Enix has a lot of anticipated games that they are expected to release this year, such as the long-awaited Final Fantasy 15.  That game was just announced its release date a few weeks ago, but another science fiction franchise of Deus Ex has had its release date known for quite a while.  Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is actually a prequel to the original Deus Ex game, and this is the news on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided special editions, as well as the new trailer and release date with pre-order information.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided has a new trailer, and it is narrated by the protagonist Adam Jensen.  Jensen is a human being with augmentations that allow him to take on antagonists in the game, which will be anti-cyborg terrorist groups.  You can watch the trailer below as it gives details about this world along with the weapons that Adam will use to fight.

For those unfamiliar with the Deus Ex series, they are first person role-playing games with a cyberpunk theme, and they have been made since 2000.  Since this game takes place before the events of the first game, it would appear that the subtitle of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is very apt as it shows a world where augmented people with their cyborg enhancements are being feared by non-cyborg human beings.  If the game is trying to make some metaphorical statement about prejudice, it seems to be following the model of the first few X-Men films.

A description of the game says that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directory follows the aftermath of "the Aug Incident", a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, which killed many in the process.  It is kind of understandable why normal human beings fear the cyborgs, and there is some conspiracy afoot, which is very common in Deus Ex games.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution will have its release date on August 23, 2016 for the Xbox One, PS4, and Windows.  Metro reports that there will be some special editions Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.  There will be a Day One or Digital Standard edition that can be pre-ordered at the Square Enix store for $59.99.  This edition comes with an extra in-game mission, covert agent pack (weapons, re-skins, and upgrade for a custom look), as well as a digital Novella, Comic Book, Artbook, and OST Sampler.

There will also be the Collector's Edition at the Square Enix store for $139.99. This includes all of the features of the Day One edition along in an exclusive Black and Gold Prism Box.  It also includes a 9-inch Adam Jensen Figurine, a 48 Page titan Art Book, as well as a Limited Edition Steelbook.
