Bandai Namco, the company behind Dragon Ball Xenoverse, released its latest financial report. In addition, it has also announced details on the game's DLC 3 pack, although the release date remains a mystery for now.

According to Damian Seeto of Attack of the Fanboy, Bandai Namco's financial report indicated that Dragon Ball Xenoverse was its best-selling game over the past financial year, which ended on March 31. The game sold 2.06 million units.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse sold more units than other games that were published by Bandai Namco," Seeto wrote. "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate: Ninja Storm Revolution sold just over 1 million units. One Piece: Unlimited World Red sold over 650,000 units. Lastly, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment sold over 570,000 units."

Seeto added that Bandai Namco also sold toys, digital card games and arcade machines. When it came to video games, however, Dragon Ball Xenoverse took the top slot.

"It will be interesting to see if Dragon Ball Xenoverse's successor will sell even more copies," Seeto wrote. "Dragon Ball Z has had a surge in popularity in recent years thanks to the new animated movies we've been getting. The new Dragon Ball Super TV series is also going to help bring DBZ fever back."

While speculation has surrounded the end of summer as a potential release date, Maity noted that DLC 3 would be released in Japan first before making its way to other markets.

Maity listed down the "boatload of features" gamers can expect from Dragon Ball Xenoverse DLC 3. Bandai Namco released the following details:
