Vancity Dream is hosting the Dream Culture Conference 2011 at the Jewel Ballroom from May 5-7, 2011. The featured speakers include Hong Kong hip pop artist Jin Au-Yeung, also known as MC Jin, Pasadena HRock Church youth adult pastor Gabe Ahn, and Vancouver New Joy Church founding pastor Steve Kim.

During the three-day conference, the keynote speakers will deliver messages aimed to encourage and empower the attendants to discover their purpose in life that God has intended and live their dreams. In addition, the featured performers include TPak, CORE Revelation, BD aka Quote, Jaewon Suh, Soulsrest, DRIME, Michael Suarez, Justin Choi Band, CLAP Music Group, and Ezra.

Besides the messages and performances, Dream Culture Conference will have workshops featuring DRIME, a BC-based ministry that uses creative dance, drama, and music to communicate Christ’s love, VJing101: Introduction to computer video mixing and video projection, and media and design.

Vancity Dream’s vision is to create and capture a dream culture in Vancouver – where all Vancouverites, through community and intimacy, will join together to help one another succeed in life – a life as God intended. This culture is where all will seek to encourage and empower one another to discover their purpose and live their dream through believing in one another. Their hope is that what will occur in Vancouver will catalyze a global dream culture that will be non-conformative, transformative, and override the culture of this world.

The ministry aims to use events, conferences, performances, and gatherings to promote, maintain, and nurture the dream culture. It strives to unite the churches, Christian organizations, and Christians and desires to break the politics and competitive spirit. Their “motto” is “I need you.”

Vancity Dream’s partners include Jin Inspire 2011, M.A.D.E., CORE Revelation dance ministry, and Revere Worship Ministry.
