Duck Dynasty’s Uncle Si Robertson 'Outruns' Jase and Jep Robertson in NASCAR Race, Clocking in At 26 Seconds

The Robertson men got to live the dream of every rednecks. That is to drive a real race car in NASCAR.

On Wednesday, the Duck Commander sponsored a NASCAR race, and certainly, they raced, reported Newsy.com.

"This is awesome," Jase Robertson exclaimed as the men of the popular reality TV show "Duck Dynasty" raced on the track with their cars rumbling loud.  "Every redneck's dream," Godwin Robertson beamed.

Because they were the sponsor of the event, the racing gods have allowed a few lucky Robertsons to drive a real live race car to a couple of laps, the report added.

The report said that Duck Commanded sponsored the NASCAR race, "so the guys decided whoever drove the fastest lap would get to be the race's Grand Marshal. You know, the one who says "Drivers, start your engines!"

Jase easily beat his brother Jep who was a little sheepish behind the wheel.

But it was Uncle Si who posted the fastest clock with a blistering 26 second. Uncle Si said his experience driving army vehicles in Vietnam game him the advantage as he let the other Robertson men, literally eat his dust.

For beating the rest of the Duck Dynasty, Uncle Si was given the honor to utter the most famous words in motor sports: "Drivers, start your engines," he yelled to the delight of the fans.

University of Mobile RamCorps Band Joins Duck Commander Cruise

The 30-member University of Mobile RamCorps Band will be joining the Duck Commander Cruise in Miami, Florida this fall, together with other celebrities, including Ricky Skaggs and Lee Greenwood, reported Christian Examiner.

"The Duck Commander family thought it was a good fit and opportunity to bring RamCorps to come on board to share their message and their faith," said Mark Brannon, CEO of the Memphis-based travel company Premier. The company promotes its travel industry company as one that is "family friendly."

The college musician University of Mobile RamCorps Band, is a Christ-centered high-impact visual brass and percussion ensemble. They will be joining the sold out Duck Commander Cruise on the Carnival cruise ship "Victory" and at two Ports of Call - Nassau and Freeport Bahamas - during the Oct. 22-26 cruise.

Brannon said Premier is in charge of Christian or faith-and-values oriented events. The company has collaborated with artists and personalities such as Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac, Scotty McCreery and Casting Crowns.
