Following the heels of the Oregon campus shooting, a new film, about the 1999 Columbine campus massacre, will be coming out to reverberate echoes of the recent tragedy in Oregon last month. "I'm Not Ashamed" stars Sadie, Bella, and Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame. The movie centers on Rachel Joy Scott, the 17-year-old teen who was the first fatality of the shooting.

Aside from Duck Dynasty, Sadie Robertson, a star in her own right in reality TV shows like Dancing With the Stars, will be playing the role of Rachel Scott's cousin, the Washington Times reports. Robertson's character is an important one; she is the person who is said to be responsible for Scott's conversion to Christianity.

Sadie Robertson's move to the silver screen is a major step for the Reality TV star and an important member of the Duck Dynasty, one that many expect will open new doors for her. Now, no longer just a reality TV staple, Robertson is excited to step out into the limelight in a film that exalts moral values, courage, and steadfast Christian faith.

Further details from the Examiner reveals that the film is being anticipated to come out by April 2016. The faith-based movie is estimated to cost USD 26 million in production, but this part is already backed by a number of private donors. It is reported that part of the proceeds will finance charities involving Christian missions around the world.

The Rachel Scott story is a moving one that is bound to touch the hearts of its various target audiences - both in the Christian and the secular world alike.

Scott was the first fatality at the tragic campus in Littleton, Colorado. Haunted by her own killers (who were also her classmates) Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, Scott stood bravely to the test before she was shot and has since become an icon for modern day Christian persecution and courage in the face of evil.

The first trailer for I'm Not Ashamed has already been released this year.
