ECM Launches Websites to Aid Churches in Africa with Resources

To meet the demands of resources in the remote regions of Africa, Every Child Ministries launched two websites that provides an array of teaching materials that can be instantly downloaded for free in languages of French, English, Lingala, Swahili, Tshiluba, Spanish, Portuguese and Kituba.

"It offers teaching material, educational resources, Bible lessons, training materials for African churches, and it's available in eight different languages right now, including English," said ECM’s Lorella Rouster.

Rouster said the website, www.teachingafrica.com, provides educational resources and teaching strategies to enhance efforts in Christian education and exchange of translated educational materials.

She added that because ministries in Africa are not readily accessible to mission resources, the website serves as a useful tool in aiding their works. "We are hoping that there will be a great encouragement to the church in having materials available, teaching lessons and so on because we constantly hear that resources are the greatest needs in the churches," Rouster said.

Every Child Ministry is an organization that emphasizes on showing the love of Jesus toward the needy children of Africa through practical ways using native Africans to train their own people. The ministry is committed to see the new generation in Africa reclaimed for Jesus Christ and His church, and leads the mercy ministry to the homeless street children by seeking and releasing retained slave children, and leads medical and rehabilitation ministries to tend to the sick and the handicapped.

ECM is currently looking for African language translators to assist them in expanding their outreach. Moreover, they're looking for people (fluent in English) who can help translate their resources into Hausa, Zulu, Arabic, Yoruba, Xhosa, Afrikaans, Amharic, Dinka, Nama and Somali.
