EMI CMG Distribute New Artist Songs of "Simply Great Music"

By John Ma

EMI CMG Distribution releases the annual supply of ‘Simply’ sampler series this month. Simply Great Music is the group’s complementary CD featuring new artists on the music industry scene and also including hit-singles of Christian artists. The CD comes with the purchase of selected titles from established artists at participating retail outlets.

Rich Peluso, the president of EMI CMG Distribution says, "Simply Great Music is the place to discover the hits...before they're hits. Switchfoot is just one example. The band was featured on the first few Simply CDs, and we know that many fans discovered them there. It's a way for customers to find their favorite new artists at the same time they purchase their current favorites."

Simply Great Music features 14 pop, rock and worship tracks from emerging bands like Starfield ("Filled With Your Glory"), Falling Up ("Broken Heart") and Something Like Silas ("When I Search"). Also included are new singers Bethany Dillon ("Great Big Mystery"), Sarah Kelly ("Take Me Away"), and Jadyn Maria ("Choices"). The set even contains new hits from David Crowder Band ("Open Skies"), Sanctus Real ("Everything About You") and Shane & Shane ("I Miss You").

Simply Great Music is free with the purchase of the latest albums by Avalon (The Creed), Jeremy Camp (Carried Me), David Crowder Band (Illuminate), Delirious (World Service), Newsboys (Adoration), Switchfoot (The Beautiful Letdown), Stacie Orrico (Stacie Orrico), and eight others.
