Erin O’Donnell’s fourth record Wide Wide World overflows with joy, beauty, and love found in God and family with songs co-written with husband Brad O’Donnell.
The 10-track record swings along to a light tempo beat based on the couple’s experiences in seeing the world through their three-year-old daughter Quinn’s eyes. The exuding genre throughout the record is pop with the title track, Wide Wide World, inspired by Rick Warren's best-selling The Purpose-Driven Life. "Thank You" shows gratefulness for God’s blessings. "You Knew" balances doubt and faith throughout the lyrics. "This Is My Prayer," blesses children on their spiritual growth.
Erin O’Donnell gives a noteworthy performance displaying her vocal skills by taking an edgy approach in one track and transforming to a soft touch on the next. Her record deserves a listening, especially for parents.
Wide Wide World features production work by Alain Mallet and Mark Hammond who is known for his work with artists such as Nicole Nordemon.
O’Donnell’s latest album No Place So Far was released in 2001.
