Evangelist Urged Believers in Hong Kong to Begin a Gospel Movement

HONG KONG – Chinese evangelist urged the believers in Hong Kong to begin a movement of actively proclaim the gospel, bringing about a true revival of the church.

In the last two centuries, few revivals sprouted in Hong Kong, Tong expressed. Although numerous large gatherings were held in the last twenty to thirty years, most of them were just mere shows.

“They lacked the content of the Word, sincerity towards the scripture, and ability to lead people to Christ,” Tong commented. This is the very reason why Hong Kong needs a movement of proclaiming the gospel.

While Hollywood Movies are shown everyday, the gospel is only preached once a year. Tong called the church in Hong Kong to begin moving, so every citizen in Hong Kong can have the chance to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
