Louie Giglio and Matt Redman will be hosting Facedown, a conference that will be full of worship, teaching, and time for co-writing new biblical, congregational and poetic songs. The event will be held at North Point Community Church, Alpharetta, GA, from Jan.28-30.
The conference is especially for those who not only write songs for a hobby but sense how pivotal new worship songs can help ignite worship at local churches. Chris Tomilin and Charlie Hall will also help the event along with their worship leading experience.
According to the event's promotional website, the conference will be spent exploring the following topics: developing the mindset of a songwriter; the journey of crafting a song; songs with a big view of God; and the songwriter as a poet, pastor, prophet and proclaimer.
In addition, Matt Redman will also be recording for his new live album during the event.
