Faithful Praise Archbishop Nkoyooyo

THE outgoing Archbishop of Church of Uganda, Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyooyo, has been hailed for initiating numerous development projects during his 10-year tenure of office.

The acting Provincial Secretary, Tom Tuma, praised Nkoyooyo, saying he had spent his energy on building and strengthening the Church.

"We commend you for the support and guidance during your term of office. Your non-confrontational personality made you accessible to everybody, which helped to build and strengthen the Church down to grassroots level," Tuma said.

He was speaking at Lweza Conference Centre where board members of the planning, development and rehabilitation department of the Church of Uganda bid farewell to Nkoyooyo last week.

The members donated a heifer to Nkoyooyo.
