Fallen Soldiers-Heroes Remembered This Holiday, Six Sacrifice Lives in Afghanistan Just Before Christmas

Six U.S. Air Force members lost their lives Monday in a suicide bombing attack in Bagram, Afghanistan. "Wake up America and remember these members as you celebrate the holidays and indulge in gift giving and tables full of food...because they won't be able to, nor will their families, holiday after holiday in the future!" stated James Baird on social media this week.

Baird then listed the names of the six fallen heroes in an attempt to personalize everyone's thoughts about them: OSI Special Agent (Major) Adrianna M. Vorderbruggen, 36, Plymouth, MN; OSI Special Agent (SSgt) Michael A. Cinco, 28, Mercedes, TX; OSI Special Agent (SSgt) Peter W. Taub, 30, Philadelphia, PA; OSI Special Agent Chester J. McBride, 30, Statesboro, GA; Security Forces TSgt Joseph G. Lemm, Bronx, NY; Security Forces SSgt Louis M. Bonacasa, 31, Coram, NY.

"Remember the Fallen this holiday season and focus on what should be of the most importance to you, your family! Happy Holidays!" stated Baird, a Colorado resident.

Others joined him this week in honoring U.S. military members who sacrificed their lives on the "Remember Our Fallen Heroes" Facebook page.

Norma Collier offered: "R.I.P -- You are loved and will be deeply missed! May your loved ones feel God's arms wrapped around them and feel His comfort! Lord, be with those still in harm's way. Thank you, for your unconditional love for all of us!"

"Brothers, we will see you on the other side," penned Robert Kispert.

Victor Milian stated: "RIP WARRIORS. WE HAVE THE WATCH NOW! God bless you and your families."

The bodies of the six airmen were received at Dover Air Force Base Wednesday in a dignified transfer ceremony, reports ABC News.
