Fans Can Now Make Their Own Mods for Fallout 4, While Ranking of Best and Worst Companions is Released

Since its release in the last quarter of 2015, Fallout 4 has done quite well and has not disappointed fans who regarded it as one of the best releases of 2015. Fans are jumping on any thread that will help them best navigate through the Fallout 4 wasteland, and Kotaku has wasted no time in giving this advice.

Kotaku's report ranks in order of worst to best sidekicks and has undoubtedly chosen Nick Valentine to take the top spot as the Fallout 4 best companion. Curie and Deacon round up the list in the top three.

Meanwhile, on the lower end of the scale, Preston Garvey ranks as the worst ever companion, followed by X6-88 and Paladin Danse completing the top 3 worst sidekicks in the game. You wouldn't want these characters by your side when you're surviving a dismal post-apocalyptic dump.

Meanwhile, the UK Express reports that the modding community is excited about Bethesda's promise to release new Creation Kit for the PC -which comes for free.

Bethesda released this official statement: "This is the same tool we use in the studio. You'll be able to create your own mods and share them with others. We're especially excited these same mods will then be coming to Xbox One, and then PlayStation 4."

Fans should expect more and even better output from the Fallout 4 developer Bethesda Studios will be opening a new development studio in Montreal, Quebec.

According to the report, the move was made to expand the gaming firm's development capabilities in the console, PC, and mobile gaming.

"We've worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time, and decided it was time to open a studio there," said Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios.

Currently, Studio Director Yves Lachance manages the team of 40 developers that are hard at work on both console and mobile development.

Lachance said, "We are thrilled to be launching the studio in Montreal and contributing our city's great game-making talent to the kind of games that Bethesda Game Studios is known for."
