Two of the most popular sports video game will release their next installment in September this year. As early as now, details about these two much-anticipated titles are available online. Here's the latest round-up of update about FIFA 17, NBA 2k17 release date, players and rumours on the web.

Let's start with the next FIFA game, FIFA 17. Publisher Electronic Arts (EA) Sports released a preview for the game that showcases the new Frostbite engine which is expected to deliver authentic and true-to-life football action.

EA previously used the Frostbite engine for their blockbuster titles like Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield, Mirror's Edge, and Need for Speed. Recent FIFA entries used the Ignite engine. With the Frostbite, the popular football video game will be more exciting regarding gameplay.

"We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17," executive producer David Rutter told in GameSpot.

Developers of the next FIFA game received contributions from several real-life soccer/football players to make the animations more realistic. By using the latest motion capture technology, game developers recorded the movements of Manchester United's Anthony Martial, Real Madrid's James Rodriguez, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and more.

Gamers will get more details about the game at EA's pre-E3 event, EA Play, on June 12 at 1 PM PT.

FIFA 17 will be released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC in North America on September 27, and it will become available globally two days later. In addition, a Super Deluxe edition of the game will be available at launch.  For those who pre-order the game, they will receive exclusive contents like premium gold packs and Team of the Week loan players.

Meanwhile, Xbox One and Xbox 360 players can now pre-order NBA 2k17 at the Xbox Store.  For gamers who are using PC, the game is now available for pre-order on Steam. PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners may have to wait a little longer. Developer 2K Sports has not yet revealed the game's availability on PlayStation Store.

We previously reported NBA 2k17 will come in three versions: the Standard Edition, the Legend Edition, and the Legend Edition Gold. Early buyers of each version will get unique and exclusive items.

The release date of NBA 2K17 is on September 20 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
