Many gamers had a chance to experience the new gameplay and awesome features of FIFA 17 at E3 2016. Game Developer EA Sports says the new edition of popular soccer simulation game have game-changing additions and a bunch of updates, tweaks and improvement. Now, here's the latest about FIFA 17 pre-order, release date and new features.

The Guardian reported EA used the Frostbite engine in the FIFA 17. The obvious result is there's so much more details in the game. The in-game characters look realistic that even their scars or pimples are visible. Also, the matches have more expressive lighting and animation.

EA also used Frostbite game engine in their recent and forthcoming titles such as Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and Battlefield 1. The technology provides authentic and true-to-life action to the FIFA 17 by bringing visuals to life.

In terms of gameplay, free kicks, penalties, corners and and throw-ins look different compare to previous FIFA title. In the new game, there's no more right or left indicator during penalty kicks. During corners, there's a ball indicator which players have to move before a kick. In addition, by holding the X button longer, players will launch a stronger kick, as per reports from Windows Central.

The game also provides better active intelligence system. In the previous version of FIFA, there's a lack of clever off-ball movement. Now, players can use new run types like direct runs and dummy runs to set-up game-winning goals.

Furthermore, physical play is improved. The new system uses real-time physical interactions. In every contact, expect that there is a realistic outcome for the players involved.

One of new major additions in FIFA 17 is The Journey, where gamers can play as the Premier League's next rising star, Alex Hunter. Interestingly, players also have to guide Alex's decisions at keys stages that will have a huge impact on his career. The game's producer Aaron McHardy said the Journey is "the biggest new Fifa mode since Ultimate Team."
