FIFA World Cup has progressed steadily into its first week, and teams have either excelled or pushed back, but every game has been hard-earned or fought as teams either inches one step closer or further away from the 2014 football (soccer) championship.

On Wednesday, Spain and Chile will meet head-to-head at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, beginning at 12 p.m. PT, and those from around the world can watch the ultra-hyped game online through live stream provided by ESPN for free.

After suffering a humiliating 5-1 defeat by Netherlands, Spain's coach Vicente del Bosque is expected to make changes to the lineup and strategies to meet head on with Chile. The defending world champs will play on June 18 to avoid elimination, and they will do whatever it takes to win.

Spain's Fernando Torres said that Spain are prepared to abandon their attractive playing style, namely the tiki-taka, in order to win.

"If we can't win like that, we have to win anyway, because otherwise we'll have to go back home. All that's important tomorrow (Wednesday) is that Spain play and win," the Chelsea striker told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, according to FIFA.com.

Chile, on the other hand, have just defeated Australia, and coach Jorge Sampaoli is expected to meet Spain head-on with the existing line-up.

Sampaoli said he expects that the "very experienced and very mature" Spanish players to play Wednesday at a much higher caliber than they did against the Netherlands.

"I think they will be difficult to beat. Don't forget they're one of the best teams in the world," he said, according to FIFA.com. "I'm sure the game will be quite different because Spain are really strong and I'm pretty sure the Spain coach will have some sort of strategy for tomorrow."
