Are you one of the six million people who have already purchased a copy of Final Fantasy XV? Well, if you have answered in the affirmative, congratulations are in order as this has made you a contributor to a rather impressive figure of having more than six million copies of Final Fantasy XV shipped out to date -- with a total of more than 11 million copies sold so far. This title from Square Enix was no doubt one of the more popular titles that many people looked forward to in 2016, and we are glad to say that ever since Final Fantasy XV hit store shelves, it has performed admirably well and having lived up to its expectations. Clearly, this is one game that lived up to the adage that good things come to those who wait.

Square Enix did drop an announcement not too long ago that they have successfully shipped more than 6 million copies of Final Fantasy XV to the masses. This is apart from the five million copies that were sold on the first day alone, which would bring the grand total of Final Fantasy XV in the hands of gamers to more than 11 million copies. Not too shabby, don’t you think so? In the very same press release, it was also mentioned that there will be an in-game event known as the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival” alongside its start date.

Being a game that not only boasts of amazing looking graphics that blow your mind away, there is also a degree of open-world freedom alongside an exciting new battle system that is a departure from what fans are familiar with. New isn’t necessarily bad, and it might even be seen as refreshing in this particular case. There are also more content as well as associated products which will further expand and enhance players’ experiences. It is nice to know that from today onwards, the free game update in the form of the Holiday Pack (there is also a premium Holiday Pack+ DLC) is available for download by all Final Fantasy XV gamers. Those who pick up the free version of the Holiday Pack or the Holiday Pack+ will also be able to take part in the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival”. This Moogle Chocobo Carnival happens to take a leaf out of other games in terms of special in-game events, where such an exciting festival will occur in the entire city of Altissia from January 24, 2017, only for a limited amount of time.

Square Enix certainly has plans to make sure that Final Fantasy XV continues to remain as relevant as possible for gamers, pledging to release updates on a regular basis in order to add further enhancements to the main game. Some of these release updates will include premium DLC content which should help deliver additional gameplay experiences.

How has your experience with Final Fantasy XV been to date, and if you have not picked it up just yet, what are you waiting for?
