Two action-filled racing games will be coming later this year. Now, here's the latest round up of update about Gran Turismo 7 Sport and Forza Horizon 3 release date, new cars and gameplay.

Let's start with the latest developments on Forza Horizon 3 which is the ninth installment in the Forza franchise. The game offers open-world environment and nothing is more appropriate for the Horizon Festival than the beautiful country of Australia, according to Microsoft Studios announcement.

The Forza series is known for showcasing the world's most pristine locations. After exploring France, Italy and Colorado, the racing game franchise will feature Australia. When choosing the next location for the Horizon series, game developers consider the geographical beauty and diversity of the country.

"Australia was the perfect fit for the open-world driving series," Turn 10 Studios design director Jon Knoles told in news.com.au.

For the vehicles, the game will have more than 350 cars that include Ariel Nomad, Ford Raptor, new Lamborghini Centenario and several Class 10 buggies.

The Verge reported the Forza Horizon 3 will hit gaming stores on September 27 for Xbox One and Windows. Interestingly, the title is the first full Forza title for PC.

Meanwhile, here's the latest about the next Gran Turismo game. It's been awhile since GT creator Polyphony Digital released new Gran Turismo game since the launching of 2013's GT6. CNET published the Gran Turismo 7 Sport will feature 140 cars, 19 different tracks and 1,000 racing locations.

One of the biggest features of GT7 is it will be playable on PlayStation 4. With next-generation console, the game will have a huge graphical upgrade alongside with Polyphony's tweaks to its physics engine. Furthermore, gamers will be able to race with heart-pounding new soundtracks.

A report from Jalopnik says Gran Turismo Sport is poised to become a next-level online competition with FIA-sanctioned online racing available to everyone. This means players have to complete challenges in the game to get a real competition license. Game designer Kazunori Yamauchi said the new system will improve the player's multiplayer experience.

Gaming experts say Gran Turismo Sport goes a step further to encourage good behavior in online gaming. Players are continuously scored based on their performance and racing etiquette. Bumping, cutting corners, leaving the track and other such behaviors will have huge impact on player's etiquette score.

Gran Turismo Sport will be released for PlayStation 4 on November 15. Watch its trailer here.
