Watch Dogs 2 is coming.  Ubisoft

Watch Dogs was a game that introduced an interesting gameplay scheme, and it would be a waste if there were no plans for a sequel. Having said that, we are pleased that Watch Dogs 2 is about to be released soon, where this title will cater for the likes of the Sony PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms -- leaving out Nintendo Wii U owners as usual for games that require a whole lot of graphical firepower. If you would like to snag yourself a free copy of Watch Dogs 2, then check out this particular joint promotion by the folks over at Ubisoft and Samsung.

Both the developer and the South Korean conglomerate have come together to work on a new promotion that will see you end up with a free copy of the upcoming Watch Dogs 2 title. Basically, as long as you decide to purchase a new Samsung SSD or Samsung curved monitor, then you would be able to claim the free copy of the game. We suppose this promotion would cater a whole lot more to those who prefer to get their gaming done on a PC, or are simply looking to upgrade their PC experience and do not mind “testing out” the new hardware with Watch Dogs 2.

The copy will be a digital one, so you will not have to worry about stashing away a boxed copy of the game with a physical disc. This particular promotion is expected to run from now all the way until December 31st, 2016. It is certainly worth the amount of holiday cheer to kick off the winter, don’t you think so?

Of course, not all Samsung SSDs and curved monitors are eligible for this particular offer. The bundle will include 19 SSDs that will arrive in various capacities starting from 500GB, and going all the way to a massive 4TB. As for the curved monitors, you will be able to pick from 24 inch, 27 inch, and 34 inch models. Do take note that those who are looking to score a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 with the purchase of Samsung's 950 Pro line would be disappointed, as it excludes lower capacity options for a few of the lines. Basically, these are the following models that qualify for the offer:

  • 960 PRO SSD (512GB, 1TB, 2TB)
  • 960 EVO SSD (500GB, 1TB)
  • 850 PRO SSD (512GB, 1TB, 2TB)
  • 850 EVO SSD (500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB)
  • 850 EVO M.2 SSD (500GB, 1TB)
  • 850 EVO mSATA SSD (500GB, 1TB)
  • Portable SSD T3 (500GB, 1TB, 2TB)
  • Samsung CFG70 Curved Gaming Monitor (24-inch)
  • Samsung CFG70 Curved Gaming Monitor (27-inch)
  • Samsung CF791 Curved Monitor (34-inch)

Do take note that these purchases will need to be made from authorized dealers only, including familiar names such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Newegg, among others. Non-US residents do not qualify, and if fine print is your cup of tea, then go ahead and read it for yourself.

Expect Watch Dogs 2 to arrive for gamers to enjoy this November 15 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while those who want to enjoy it on their new Samsung curved monitor would have to wait for a fortnight more on November 29.
