FC Dallas vs. Portland Timbers Game 2 Live Stream, Watch Online, Start time, TV Channels; Plus Comprehensive MLS Conference Finals Analysis

The Portland Timbers aim to get past FC Dallas in the second game of the two-leg aggregate goal Western Conference finals on Sunday, 5 p.m. EST at Toyota Stadium, Frisco Texas. Watch the game via live stream through LiveSoccerTV.

The Portland has two-goal lead 3-1 as they head into the Sunday's Match-up.

Previously, Portland has won four-game winning streak from home, and they dominated five of their last six games. Their road game results would be good enough if they beat Dallas.

However, they are capable of falling apart. They lost three straight road games in June and July with final scores of 3-0 against Philly, 5-0 against LA, and 4-1 against Dallas.

The team can advance to Western Conference title if they lose by two, but at least they should have two goals.

"What I like about the group is that they're aware of what they're doing, but they're not thinking about it," said Coach Caleb Porter in the Portland's official website. "They're aware of the magnitude of every game and yet they're absorbed in the substance of what we need to do."

Some analysts discuss the possible formation of Timbers. There could be two situations for the Timber's formation. First, Porter could put Diego Valeri back into the central midfield and reverse the triangle back to 4-3-3.  On the other hand, the coaching staff could put more defensive-minded players like Jack Jewsbury to central midfield.

For FC Dallas, overcoming a two-goal first leg deficit is a hard feat. In the MLS league history, it only happened twice. But the result of Dallas' last 11 home games has given them good numbers that would get them past the Timbers.

Dallas' Defender Zach Loyd hopes that they turn the game around and head to the finals. The team can hold on to their latest home game against Portland to advance to their second MLS Cup appearance.

In the first leg, Dallas pushed their quarterbacks to attack the Timber's defense. They also have effective players that can do amazing plays for the team.  Mauro Diaz can spray balls over the field as he did in the first matchup.

Portland or Dallas will face either Columbus or the New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup on Dec. 6.
