The good news for everyone who has been waiting for Ubisoft's RPG, Tom Clancy's "The Division," is that this game already has an official release date. The shooting game which is set in post-apocalyptic New York is scheduled to be out by March 8, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC formats.

The game's E3 2014 Official Cinematic Trailer tempts eager gamers with a modern military setting. The back story of "The Division" goes thus: A severe pandemic destroys New York City, and the inhabitants face the prospect of living in an increasingly devastated city. Basic services like food and water start to fail. The city becomes violent and chaotic as the New York inhabitants fight to take over the city and secure the limited resources. Society has also changed with many new elements introduced into the open, such as escaped convicts banding together to fight with other factions and groups who are still left in the city.

Gamers will take the role of one of the agents of The Division with the goal of specializing skills and leveling up gear and weapons in order to reclaim New York and survive the increasingly maddening elements in the city.

Even though the release date is still a few months away, players can already sign up on the Ubisoft official blog as early as now in order to be one of the first to play the beta version.

Meanwhile, as early as now, Ubisoft has released an entry on their official blog on The Division about how gamers can level up and increase the skill levels of their characters.

In the blog entry labeled INTELLIGENCE ANNEX #8: BUILDING A BETTER AGENT, dated on the 25^th of November, @yannickbch, a community developer on The Division Dev Team wrote out a few tips on how to deal with the game's functionalities and system. The tips were compiled from the whole team.

The blog entry details how the gamer's main goal is to achieve higher levels, new skills and talents in order to dispose enemies that previously stood as a hindrance. Every adversary is tied to a level, so enemies also present increased levels of difficulty.

The entry also specified what it takes to overcome the Dark Zone, which is a rank system rather than a level. What is unique here is that players also decrease in rank if they die in this zone.

Gamers also have an opportunity to go rogue to get more loot, but they can also lose out on the Dark Zone experience.
