Gay 'Pastor' Files Lawsuit After Whole Foods Made Cake with 'Love Wins Fags' Written On It

Whole Foods Market is being accused after a pastor claimed a cake with a homophobic slur written on it. The preacher ordered a cake from the Austin-based grocery chain with words "Love Wins" on the top of it. However, he received a cake that says "Love Wins Fags." 

Pastor Jordan Brown went to the Whole Foods store on Thursday to get a cake. It is for the member of his congregation. According to a KVUE News report, Brown asked the employee of the store to put "Love Wins" on the cake. Within five minutes, he got it then he paid and left the store. He said that while he was at the stoplight near the Whole Foods Market, he noticed an added word on the cake. He didn't go back to the store. Instead, he immediately drove home and he shot a video of the cake box. The preacher called the manager of the store. However, the manager said that there was nothing they could do for Brown.

He has already filed a lawsuit against the grocery chain on Monday. According to Washington Times, the law firm representing Jordan Brown stated that they notified Whole Foods about the incident. Brown's Attorney, Austin Kaplan, also said that his client doesn't have icing at home.

Meanwhile, Whole Foods management denied the accusation and sent a statement on the incident. They said that their team member wrote the requested words at top of the cake. That is exactly how the cake is sealed and sold at the store. They also said that they do not design bakery orders that include images or languages that are offensive. In addition, they also stated that no members of their staff saw the gay slur on the cake.

Kaplan immediately replied that his client is not lying.The attorney also added that his client received the cake the way it is. If they will look at the cake, they will also see the same icing and the same handwriting on it.

"I have ordered multiple personalized cakes there before and I've never had a problem, an issue," said Jordan Brown. He was also the Founder of Austin's Church of Open Doors, and a proud member of LGBT community.

It is reported that Brown has already forgiven the person who wrote the homophobic slur on the cake.
