Warriors Parade 2015 Live Streaming (ABC, NBC), TV Channel: NBA Championship Celebrations, Route, Time

The City of Oakland will host the Golden State Warriors victory parade on Friday, June 19, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin on Broadway at 11th Street, turning right on Grand Avenue, and right on Harrison to Lakeside Drive, ending on Oak and proceeding to the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center for the Rally.

Fans will have the opportunity to pay honor to the 2014-15 NBA Champion the Golden State Warriors after beating the Lebron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals and gave the city its first NBA championship in 40 years. Fans can begin to line up for the rally as early as 5:00 a.m. at Lakeshore and 12th Street.

Stephen Curry, the sharp-shooting Warriors forward and this season's MVP, carried the NBA championship trophy when the team's plane landed in Oakland on Wednesday, said ABC7 News. He described the plane trip to Oakland, "A party. I think it's like a mix though, cause guys are still sleepy from last night, not getting any sleep. But we're just still kind of on an adrenaline rush and excited to win a championship."

Draymond Green added, "Cleveland, their fans brought it. But we still have the best fans in the NBA. So to be back home is amazing."

Even President Barack Obama called Warriors rookie coach Steve Kerr on Wednesday to congratulate him and the team for their victory. Obama was reported to have extended his invitation to Curry and NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguadala.

Oakland City Mayor Libby Schaaf said she is very excited for Friday's parade and she is expecting the city to explode in celebration during that day. The city will impose parking restrictions beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. and will go through Friday at 6 p.m., city officials said.

Schaaf said, "We are excited to be hosting the victory parade and rally this Friday morning." He added, "We expect all of Oakland and the whole Bay Area to come down to the shores of Lake Merritt and help celebrate this incredible team."

On Wednesday morning, city traffic officials lined up hundreds of barricades along the parade route along. Traffic will also be blocked along Lake Merritt, while fans will be given some space at the bay to witness the historic event.

BART officials said they will be utilizing as many cars added to each train as possible on Friday during the event. After the parade, passengers heading toward the Fremont or Dublin/Pleasanton stations can take their ride at the Lake Merritt station. BART said no San Francisco- or Richmond-bound trains will stop at Lake Merritt.Passengers heading toward San Francisco, Richmond or Pittsburg/Bay Point will have to board at either the 12th Street or 19th Street stations.

In the Warriors' 1975 NBA championship celebration, the parade was held across San Francisco. During that season, the Golden State Warriors played their regular season in Oakland but the Finals games were held at the Cow Palace on the other side of the bay because of scheduling conflicts, reported NBC Bay Area.
