Gospel Artist Jaci Velasquez Scores More Billboard Latin Music Awards

Recently, Gospel Star Jaci Velasquez won a second Billboard award for her fourth Spanish-language album, Milagro, for "Latin Christian/Gospel Album of the Year" at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The nominations in the Latin Billboard Music Awards took place in Miami Arena this year, and is the most prestigious of all the Latin music awards show. It was broadcasted for the first time by Telemundo International TV network. Billboard Awards' finalists were chosen based on thei radio and retail chart performances for categories such as "Hot Latin Tracks" and "Top Latin Albums" charts.

The competition for the award with Velasquez which were the other nominees for th eaward are Salvador (Word-Curb/Warner Bros.), Samuel Hernandez (SH) and Jhonny Rafael (Univision/UG).

Velasquez has been an on-going veteran performer for both Gospel Music winning 5 Dove Awards for English projects, three Dove Awards for Spanish Language Albums, and numerous GRAMMY Award nominations and accolades for her Latin performances.
