A Grand Theft Auto 5 voice actor teased about an all new story DLC. Also, the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC part 2 is coming soon. In the meantime, the release date for GTA 6 remains a mystery.

Franklin May Get His Own DLC

Two days ago, the voice behind GTA 5 character Franklin posted a photo of himself on Instagram. The image shows voice actor Shawn Fonteno wearing what appears to be a form-fitting, motion capture suit. Fonteno implied that Rockstar Games was capturing new dialogue and motion for a yet-to-be announced DLC.

"Shhh...Y'all know why I got this suit on," Fonteno said cheekily.

It has long been rumored that Franklin will be getting his own spinoff DLC story.

When Will Ill-Gotten Gains DLC Part 2 Be Released

Rockstar has already confirmed that Part 2 content for the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC will be coming later this summer.

The first part of the Ill-Gotten Gains was released earlier this month. This DLC allowed player to spend in-game currency attained from heists and other illicit enterprises. Available purchases included a private jet, helicopter, fast cars, a gold-plated assault rifle, new clothing, and personal accessories. Rockstar has yet to confirm what content will be included in the Part 2 DLC.

No ETA for GTA VI

Since GTA III in 2001, Rockstar Games has continually released new GTA installments on the console every year. This cycle ended after Grand Theft Auto V launched in 2013. Two years later, the world has yet to receive any news about the next Grand Theft Auto videogame. Even so, there is no doubt that Rockstar has a sequel planned.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies told Develop in 2013. "We don't know what GTA VI will be, but we've got some ideas."

Naturally, the videogame firm has kept quiet on any development pertaining to the next GTA. With summer fast approaching and no word as of late, a GTA VI release in for this year seems very unlikely.

Still, this has not stopped fans from speculating on possible locations for Grand Theft Auto VI. In past years, Rockstar has a habit of revisiting old settings from previous title. For instance, both GTA III and GTA IV were set in Liberty City. GTA V returned to the fictional San Andreas region.

Some rumors sites have suggested that GTA VI may be set in a revamped Vice City, which is inspired by the real-life city of Miami. While it is fun to speculate on these things, all gossip must be taken with a grain of salt.
