New York-based video game developer and publisher Rockstar Games has revealed another week-long Heist event in Grand Theft Auto V (or GTA 5). This time, it is offering double GTA$ and RP for successfully finishing the Series A Funding heist until Sunday, August 2. Since last week, Rockstar has been giving players lots of incentives to return to GTA Online in GTA 5.  This fresh offering of double GTA$ and RP is yet another example of such promotion.

Latest GTA 5 announcement from Rockstar Games

The developer has been giving players of the popular open world, action-adventure video game a reason to try out the game's online co-op heist this month. Rockstar is once again running a series on special in-game events within GTA Online to raise the rewards for completing the game's virtual high-stake robberies.

Picking up where it left off last week, Rockstar dropped a press release on Monday announcing that fans will be given another week of opportunity to get special rewards. Beginning on July 27th and ending on August 2nd, players will receive double the GTA$ & RP rewards for finishing Set-Up Missions as well as the Finale in the Series A Funding GTA Online Heist.

How to get double GTA$ and RP for July 27 to August 2

Rockstar Games will dole out twice the amount of GTA$ and RP rewards for GTA Online this week-but those only applies for particular missions. As mentioned, those include Set-Up Missions and the Finale for the "Series A Funding" Heist for this week. Moreover, players who successfully finish the Heist's Elite Challenges will earn double GTA$ rewards as well. The challenges involve:

  • Completing the heist in under 6 minutes and 30 seconds
  • Killing 75 enemies
  • Having all players survive the heist

That's already plenty of reasons to pick up GTA Online once more. If some gamers still don't want to play that heist, several other activities and missions in GTA 5's online mode are paying out double RP. As such, the following activities will offer twice the RP until August 2:

  • Gang Attacks
  • Mission: Out of Harmony
  • Missions: Deliver a Package Bonus
  • Deathmatch: All Kills
  • Deathmatch: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place finishes
  • Deathmatch: 3, 6 and 10 Kills
  • Deathmatch: Power Player, Kill When Close to Death
  • Vehicle Deathmatch: Kill Power Player
  • Survival: Wave Reached
  • Capture: RP Rewards for Collecting Mission Package

Also continuing from the previous week, the developer will give out new discounts on certain GTA 5 items daily. Gamers can enjoy plenty of savings on vehicle modifications, ammunition, and more. All they have to do to stay tuned to Rockstar Games' Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts as the promo will be announced via those channels.
