Rumors about the release date of GTA 6 are now spreading online. Rockstar Games has not yet made any official statement, but several gaming websites say the next GTA could have bigger map, new characters and improved storyline. Now, here's the latest news about GTA 6 and preview of GTA 5 VR.

Neurogadget reported GTA 6 will be available sometime in 2018, five years after the release of GTA 5. Tech experts said this schedule would give Rockstar Games plenty amount of time to develop the game. 

As for the new characters of the game, it is rumored that famous actor Ryan Gosling will voice the main character, and his real life partner, Eva Mendes, is said to be the first female protagonist. In an interview with Evan Dan Houser, one of the writers in GTA franchise, he said, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."

Furthermore, majority of tech websites claim the next installment of GTA game will feature all of the game's previous maps, such as Vice City, San Andreas and many more.  Some avid fans would like to see the Fierro and Las Venturas ( both from San Andreas) in the next installment, because both of these places have still unexplored regions from the current GTA 5.  If the bigger map rumor is true, then the GTA 6 will surely make a huge impact to old and young fans of the franchise.

Meanwhile, a developer who is currently experimenting with virtual reality and hand-tracking technologies has made a VR version of Grand Theft Auto 5. Imagine playing GTA in an immservie technology like VR headsets, surely it would be a whole new gaming experience.

However, Modder Joseph Delgado was shocked about the result of the GTA 5 VR. The developer said the technology might leave players somewhat guilty after killing someone virtually.

"I'm really not sure about this," Delgado says. "I feel horrible about making this. You actually feel guilty." He went on to explain that his mouth "dropped the first time [he] shot someone in [his] GTA V VR setup."

The crime-oriented gameplay of Grand Theft Auto had always been extremely controversial. The usual platform of the game may detach players from reality, but with the use of VR devices, the act of killing in the game is realistic.
