If there is one thing that we should all love when it comes to modern day games, it would be this -- the release of updates from time to time that keep a particular game fresh and playable all over again, without having to purchase a new copy at a physical store. Rockstar Games has just revealed that they will be releasing a new GTA Online update that is set to arrive later this month, where it will be known as the Import/Export expansion for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The GTA Online Import/Export update will cater for the multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V, or GTA V in popular parlance. It will certainly continue to toe the line on the grey areas of life, where high risk and high returns walk hand in hand. The GTA Online Import/Export update will lean strongly towards the theft of cars, which is pretty much in line with the entire game’s franchise name in the first place. In the Import/Export update in Rockstar's open-world game, you will be able to step into the high stakes world of theft of exotic cars. And we are not talking about just nicking a few Ferraris and Porsches here and there. It will be a high volume job, which means you will constantly be on the run and have to watch your back, while experiencing the thrill of the Fast and Furious in the digital realm.

What can we say? For the Import/Export update to bring the “theft” back into Grand Theft Auto is certainly an achievement to be lauded. This new feature will allow you to indulge in the high payouts associated with exotic vehicle theft. PC Gamer claims that this new update allows you to walk around the city and keep a lookout for the hottest set of wheels. When the opportunity arises, you can then steal them, before returning them to your garage for a customization process in order to avoid detection by the relevant authorities. Once that is done, you can then put up the stolen car on the open market and sell it -- for a handsome profit, of course.

The customized stolen cars can be stashed away in new vehicle warehouses, and if you like, you can even parade them in executive office garages that have a maximum capacity of 60 rides, going all the way up to three stories in height. These garages, just like your cars, can also be customized. You will of course require an autobody shop to be part of the physical make up before you can go about performing customizations on the stolen wheels.

Polygon has reported that Import/Export will continue to delve into the supply chain systems that were introduced in the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony expansion. From being able to be a CEO and basically learn the ropes of running an organization (albeit with criminal undertones), this new Import/Export update will bring to the table a new way to expand your criminal kingdom in GTA Online.
